Mom and Kids

Mommy & Kids' class is a parent-child class held once a week for children from 9 months to 2 years old.
This is a fun class that will be the entrance to International Preschool will do various activities appropriate for each age.
Through our rich educational program, children build the language skills, confidence, increase attention span listen to the teacher, acquire intellectual thinking, and improve their skills.
The curriculum is based on early childhood education that promotes the growth of children in various fields.
From 2 years, it is possible to join our full-time pre-school, Pre-approach, or Saturday school programs.

Learning at this stage is very important in our preschool.
They actively participate through hands-on, day-to-day activities.
We provide and support children's learning through age appropriate programs.
Our classroom environment has an international preschool touch, with friendly and rich educational materials.
Our qualified and experienced early childhood educators carefully help and support each child with his/her individual needs.

Classes are created according to age and ability, and the level steadily increases with the ability of each child as he/she improves.

Through projects at each learning stage, children in the program find clues to acquire various abilities, and they fully participate as they build the ability to think logically, communicate and cooperate with others.
They also gain the ability to develop creative skills and active physical skills.
At Unique 1, we believe in hands-on program as a very important tool not only in infancy but also in later life.
Our learning program gradually upgraded to a higher level from the foundation.
Practically and systematically we introduce our in-depth program.

We blend both international and Japanese kindergarten programs which build a stronger and a higher level of developmental and language skills.
At this age, they begin parallel reading, short words such as bat, cat, hat, sat, etc., along with the body signs.
They also start to practice spelling with original teaching materials. In the second half, children begin to read sentences.
They participate in learning numbers, shapes, weight, length, etc.
In line with the theme of each month, we also increase the interest in learning such as science, social, geography and music. With fun arts and crafts, the children build their creative skills.

We provide a solid foundation that leads to better growth in the future through our active learning curriculum.
Children of this age continue to grow and learn problem solving techniques, social skills, and positive human relations.
They learn the natural ability to maintain better relationships with their friends, as they solve basic problemson their own when misunderstanding occurs with their friends.
They also participate in planned writing program as they gain firm ability, to become good at writing with good creative skills.
They also become very competent as they get ready for elementary school.
A focus on phonics, vocabulary, understanding, wh- questions and the ability to think using our method, by preparing them for the necessary literacy skills after preschool.
We prepare the children for their elementary education; by the time they graduate they have acquired natural and strong English skills and proper use of Japanese. From 4.5 to 6 years they work on problem solving and vertical addition using our unique math program.
They work in various groups and at various levels as they learn a lot of words using our Unique 1 communication patterns.
During this period, Unique 1 children become active in expressing themselves through various means as their skills improve gradually.
They work on understanding numbers and quantities from one to hundred. Science, society, music, technology, arts & crafts also enhance learning abilities with contents equivalent to international standard of elementary school first grade.

Saturday - younger class is a very special world that children can step into and enjoy English at their own pace! "Superstars" has been created with the idea of kids’ role-play in mind, and children’s love of fantasy. We make creative spaces, provide monthly themes, props, and situations where our students want to interact, copy, and become involved. Not only will your child role-play fun situations like shopping, they will also be given little tasks related to their theme and learn English through practical, hands-on situations. The activities vary from the level of the class.
